GOODBOY Rough Cut Tobacco
This print design was inspired by the Japanese "Ametora" subculture. In the aftermath of WWII, American troops kept a lingering influcence on Japanese culture. Western style, ideas, and products made a steady flow to the Japanese zeitgeist into the latter half of the 20th Century. Today, Japanese artisans are often the experts that are tapped to recreate American vintage clothing and products to a T.

"Fake Vintage" print design for Murciélago spiced cigars. These Nicaraguan cigars were special for their spice-coated paper and proprietary tobacco plant that smelled like cinnamon and orange. They went defunct some time around 1978-79 during the fall of the Somoza family's dictatorship.

I designed this "fake vintage" print for a sleep aid manufactured by Gnome Pharmaceuticals, Inc from 1946-1986. Known for its milky texture and mild sweetness. It was primarily sold in the Great Lakes region of Canada and the United States.
